Although inheriting from a long tradition of formal inventiveness, the experimental Latin-American cinema only becomes a form of internationally valued creativity in the 80’s.  Even if the filmmakers and video directors do not declare themselves as belonging to a specific artistic movement, their work stands out from the traditional cinema horizon.

Thus, they find inspiration in the different artistic vanguard while conserving a close relationship with iconography peculiar to the Latin-American identity.

This unknown work, that we will present through two sessions, attest of a permanent search, echoing a region in motion.
